Payment

Payment can be made with a credit card or PayPal account. Payments are processed using Shopify's shopping cart, which includes an 128-bit SSL certificate to keep your information secure – the same level of encryption used by large banks around the world.
 
Production of orders will begin only after payment has cleared.

 

Shipping

Your purchase will be shipped to the address provided during checkout.

WITHIN THE US:
 
Standard shipping method on all domestic orders is USPS priority mail shipping. Quicker shipping methods are available upon request for an additional fee.
 
OUTSIDE THE US:

Standard shipping method on all international orders is USPS express mail shipping. Although the price is higher, this method includes insurance, tracking information, and more reliable delivery projections.

Please keep in mind that there are prohibitions on the import of jewelry into some countries and that import taxes may occur within your country. I ask that you inquire about these issues within your country prior to purchase. Coverage of all import fees, customs, duties, and taxes will be the sole responsibility of the buyer. Please note, requests for alterations to customs declaration forms (i.e., requests for packages to be marked as "gift" or with a lower value) is illegal for US business owners. If I were to get caught doing so, the legal responsibilities (fines, etc.) would rest solely on me, and for these reasons I must respectfully decline to honor such requests.

Lastly, international buyers should allow extra time for delivery, as items can sometimes be delayed by the customs clearance process.

Refunds and Exchanges

At hersteller, we want your purchasing experience to be positive. We are a small personal business, so if you have any concerns, questions, or requests, please contact us and we'll do what we can, within reason, to try to make you happy. Your satisfaction is very important to us, and we always keep this in mind in all transactions.

REFUNDS:

Due to the custom and handmade nature of each item, hersteller does not offer the option of returning an item for a full refund. Every item created represents an investment of materials, time and energy, and typically can not be resold. We take pictures that we believe appropriately and accurately represent the items for sale. If you have questions or concerns about this, please contact us for any further details you require before making a purchase. If your item has not yet shipped, a full or partial refund may be possible. Please contact us at hersteller@ymail.com for information on this.

EXCHANGE POLICY:

• We guarantee that you will receive the ring(s) in the size(s) you ordered. In the event that a mistake is made, i.e., you receive a different sized ring than what you ordered, a correct replacement will be provided free of charge and we will cover the shipping for the return of the original ring as well as shipping for the replacement to be sent to you.

• In the event that you order a size that does not work for you, you may request an exchange (only one per original transaction, so an exchanged ring cannot be exchanged again). Please send us an email first to let us know what's going on and then send us the ring in new, unused, and unworn condition. The remake fee is 50% of the original price of the ring – this covers the cost of the remake and return shipping.

• The exchange privilege will be VOID if you elect to have your ring engraved. In other words, we cannot accept any kind of exchange for a ring that has been engraved, so please be positive about your size prior to ordering. If you'd like, we can send your ring out to you before it has been engraved it and then you can send it back for engraving after you've verified its fitment; however, you will be responsible for shipping charges both ways. By purchasing engraving, you are acknowledging that you agree to these terms.

• Because titanium and alternative material rings cannot be re-sized, exchanges require that an entirely new ring to be made. Having to make an exchange takes extra time and money, so it's very important to obtain verify your sizing before placing your order. Also, please note that remakes will be subject to the same lead time as all other rings.
